Kerf Joinery began the way most workshops do — one bench, one apprentice, and a short list of regulars. The bench is now a building, the apprentice is the foreman, and the regulars include architects, landlords and a steady stream of homeowners who want something made properly.

Around a decade ago, we took on our first commercial fire door fit-out. It became the second half of the business. Today we install and assess fire doors with the same care we bring to a hand-cut staircase — because the only thing worse than a badly built kitchen is a fire door that doesn't hold.

We measure twice. We make once. We sign our work.
